Post Tension Civil Structures
Industrial Pavements
APS Industrial Pavements and Warehouse Floors are constructed using the Slab Post Tensioning System. High Capacity, high performance ground bearing Post Tensioned Slabs can be detailed and constructed to meet the customer requirements, even on poor or low bearing strength sites.
APS Post Tensioned Ground Slabs are designed specifically to the requirements of the facility. Our design professionals can provide expert assistance in determining the most appropriate solution for your project based on over 30 years of practical experiences.
Typical Post Tensioning Applications
Warehouse Floors
Container handling and Storage Facilities
Tank Floors
Rail Sidings
Wharf Pavements
Cool Stores Slabs
Airport Apron Slabs
Sporting area Slabs
2000 to 3000m2 pours or larger areas are typically possible, using modern concrete laser screed machines etc. By adopting coupled construction joints, floor areas up to 10,000m2 without movement joints are easily achievable.
Prestressed Piles and Pile heads
Prestressed concrete piles are vital elements in the foundations of buildings, bridges and marine structures throughout the world. Prestressed concrete piles are typically made with Prestressing Tendons to obtain the tensile strength required, to survive handling and driving, and to provide sufficient bending resistance.
Typical long concrete piles can be difficult to handle and transport. Pile joints can be used to join two or more short piles to form one long pile. Pile joints can be used with both precast and prestressed concrete piles.
